CURT Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here, with etrailer.com, taking a look at the Curt Folding Cargo Carrier on our 2023 Jeep Wagoner L. Alright, and the Curt Carrier is a folding carrier that gives you a pretty decent size for adding additional space. Let's see, on the inside capacity, we come up to a little bit shy of 19 inches, and as far as the length, we're about 57 and a half, as far as that usable space. From here, the depth from the bottom to the top, is right at six inches. That is gonna give you about 12 inches of space to load upward and still open the hatch with this particular carrier. Also, it'll be about 13 inches as far as the height of your load in the back of your basket, to block your rear view camera and your license plate and a portion of your tail lights. more

Hi Matt with eTrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima EXO Swing Away System on our 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L. Now this's gonna be a great way to get some extra storage out of the back of the Wagoneer. Now we do have a lot of storage back here, but if you plan on taking a longer trip, you have a lot of gear, or have a lot of people with you, you might need a little bit of extra storage. Now let's take a closer look at that swing away feature, since it is one of the biggest features about this. How we're gonna do that is just by twisting this wing nut, and once we loosen this up, we'll be able to pull this pin right next to it, just pulling along like that and then pushing out. And you'll be able to see how far it swings out. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here, taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods 60 by 22 Aluminum Cargo Carrier on the back of the 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L. As far as the aluminum construction, it's gonna give you solid post on the top to tie down from. The bottom is open. If you had smaller fine items, there are other carriers that have a mesh, but in general, it works out fine. All right, and I already checked out that the measurement, if you can stack up to 12 inches from the top of your carrier and still clear the back of your hatch. If you have your seats in the upright position, that's gonna kind of limit your cargo area 'cause it's a lot of space in the Wagoneer L. more

How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier on the back of the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So why would you need this type of cargo carrier Well, my time in customer service, I usually recommend this type of carrier, or this one specifically to people who are primarily carrying wheelchairs due to the ramp. However, it does come in handy for other applications 'cause you can, the ramp can support that full 500 pounds as well, so you'd be able to roll on heavier items, but you can also use it for like your bulkier items that take up a lot of space in your cargo area in your Grand Cherokee. All right, so let's actually get a measurement of the usable space with the ramp in the upright position. So as far as that getting around the post, it's right at 27 and a half and this guy, I'd say right at 47, eh, 47 and three quarters to be conservative with the space. So that's plenty of room to actually tie off. more

Now with the ramp included, it's gonna be a 60 inch ramp on this side, and that's gonna be good for those heavier items with wheels. This is gonna be a hitch mounted carrier that is made of aluminum, keeping it very lightweight and easy to get in and out of your hitch or maybe hang up on the wall of your garage. Coming in at only a little above 20 pounds, but still capable of carrying up to 500 pounds. So pretty impressive capabilities. It's got these long, wide slats for putting all of your stuff on, which leaves the bottom mainly open for any sort of dirt and debris to fall through. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today I have the Let's Go Aero Gear Deck 17 cubic feet enclosed cargo carrier, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Jeep Wagoneer. So the Let's Go Aero Gear deck is going to be a box that fits onto your hitch receiver. It allows you to carry a lot of stuff. In fact, it has a 500 pound weight capacity, which is a bit more than most of your other enclosed cargo boxes. Let's Go Aero also has even larger boxes like the gear space or their black boxes. I personally think this is a pretty balanced size for your Wagoneers though, because the larger ones I would see more on motor homes than the Wagoneers. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Lets Go Aero GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier. This is gonna be a hitch mounted cargo box and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So right off the bat, if you need more cargo space, you want make sure that your cargo is covered and protected, this is gonna be one of the ways you can do that. Now, some of the features here is that instead of tilting away for more access to your hatch, this one actually slides out. So there's a pin here at the end where you just rotate that pin in order to release the slide out arms. It's an anti-rattle bolt, so it will also take a little bit of time before we come out, but once it does, I just hold the box by its handle, lift out and wait. more

The hitch-mounted cargo carrier is a great way to carry extra stuff with you, maybe you're taking this out on a road trip and you need somewhere to put everyone's luggage, because inside just isn't enough space, or you've got stuff that you never wanna put inside the vehicle to begin with, things like bags of mulch, soil, concrete from the hardware store, things that tend to rip and make a mess, it's a lot nicer to just keep it out here, and if it does make a mess, you can hose it off when you get home rather than in, vacuuming out the inside of your vehicle. Now, aside from all that, it's going to be aluminum, which makes this a very lightweight carrier, easy to get in and out of the hitch, and very much light enough to just hang up on the wall in your garage for easy storage when it's not in use. A lot of people don't think about that if they get a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, storing it is kind of an afterthought, and a lot of times with the heavier steel ones, they can be a pain to move around, they end up taking up floor space, so hanging on the wall is a nice option. And even though it's aluminum, it can support a weight capacity of 500 pounds, so it's built very strong. more

A cargo carrier, especially a hitch mounted one is a great way to get some extra stuff with you maybe on a road trip or maybe just to and from the hardware store. I always recommend these for things like bags of concrete, mulch, dirt, anything that tends to rip and maybe cause a mess inside your vehicle. These are more than capable of handling some heavy weight and with the open design, any dirt and debris will fall through it and anything that doesn't can easily get hosed off because it's aluminum you don't have to worry about rust and corrosion over time, it's gonna be very weather resistant while still maintaining a nice 500 pound weight capacity which should hold up very well for a long time. There's plenty of points for tie downs here. more

So the Yakima EXO System is a very unique setup. It's gonna be a hitch-mounted carrier slides into our two inch by two inch receiver tube. And it does weigh quite a bit which makes your Jeep Grand Cherokee L a perfect fit for it because it's vehicle capacity and hitch capacity is more than enough for the job. And it's gonna be a completely modular system. more

Hi everyone. Hayden here at the trailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2019 Jeep Cherokee. Like I said, this is going to be an aluminum carrier which means it's very lightweight, easy to get in and out of the hitch, but that doesn't mean it's going to be weak. It can support up to 500 pounds on the carrier itself. Now, that doesn't include what your hitch or your vehicle couldn't handle. more

Now, main points for the Jeep Cherokee with a cargo carrier, the point of a cargo carrier is you wanna increase your cargo capacity, and then the point of a ramp is to make it easier to carry larger, heavier loads. So with that in mind, this is gonna be a lightweight cargo carrier, and even though the ramp is kinda short, it actually works really well with the Cherokee, because the ground clearance is so low. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the etrailer Tilting and Folding Cargo Carrier on a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now this cargo carrier is 24 by 60 and that's gonna be large enough to get a lot of your accessories loaded up, whether it be your camping gear, whether it be some home projects, whatever it may be. And the glory of having things stored outside your vehicle is if you are picking up maybe some mulch or dirt or things for your garden, you can have it outside and not have to worry about getting inside of your vehicle dirty. Also, if you're going on vacation and you have some coolers or some things that just take up a bunch of space and take space away from people, this is gonna be a great opportunity to add some real estate to your vehicle and still have all your cargo with you. Now, this has a 500 pound capacity on it, so you can load up quite a bit of stuff on here and it's gonna hold it great. Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at our Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier here on our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. So this is an option for you for when you wanna create a little bit more cargo space, but you also want it slightly enclosed. So let's say you have your firewood here, you have your cooler here, but even if you have your slightly more valuable items in your cargo carrier, with the lockable functions that this has, this allows you to both carry it, keep it out of your Jeep Wrangler, but also try to lock it, so that people don't get to it. We'll take a look at how this works with our Wrangler, but first off, this is kind of a short cargo carrier, so you will need to use this with a hitch extender, which we already have on our Wrangler, that's because we need to clear that spare tire while also give ourselves a little extra clearance, so I'll give you the height measurement for that extender later just so you can see how it works with you and your own equipment. So we'll take some measurements first, because this is on the larger side for our cargo carriers. So it is a 23 by 47 inch long cargo carrier, we have the lid, we have this strap holding that lid into place, and that's what this kit comes with. more
